Lights, camera, ACTION

Teaching with Digital Video is my all time favorite. The plan is introduced and the stage is set. The spotlight fades from the instructor and shines directly on the students. This promotes creativity and fun learning. I have tried this in my classroom and the students were engaged and retained what they learned as writers, directors, and actors. I felt the shift of the spotlight away from me to the students. This is true learning at its best; by doing. Talk about authentic problems. Wow!

  1. I just got a chance to read your blog, and I love how fun it is. Your pictures are the best. Do you take them yourself? If so I might need to take a photography class from you!

  5. Yes, the pictures are great! But, I was more captured by your quote, "The spotlight fades from the instructor and shines directly on the students." I love it! Nicely put!
