Opportunities for learning are expanding with the introduction of new tools. I would like to explore my curiousity with blogs to incorporate cross curriculum lessons. Physical Education often takes the back seat to academic classes. For example, students could walk across America using pedometers to log their steps, incorporating Math skills and blogging emphasizing Language Arts. I think technology could bring us together where in the past we were isolated.
I so agree with you point about cross curricular lessons. What better way to transfer knowledge and show kids how learning all fits together.
